Biography
John Lindley is an American cinematographer. Born in New York City on 17 November 1951, he began working in television before his first major feature credit on the 1987 horror film The Stepfather.
Lindley has collaborated frequently with directors Joseph Ruben, Phil Alden Robinson and Nora Ephron. His credits include Field of Dreams (1989), Sneakers (1992), You've Got Mail (1998), Pleasantville (1998), The Sum of All Fears (2002) and St. Vincent (2014). He served as president of the International Cinematographers Guild from 2020 to 2022.
