Biography
John M. Valerio is a film and television editor and producer. He is known for his work on the HBO series The White Lotus (2021–), serving as editor across multiple seasons and as producer from the second season onward. He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for the first-season finale.
Valerio has edited episodes of series including The Old Man (2022), Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018) and Tokyo Vice (2022). He has also contributed as an additional editor on feature films such as Ferrari (2023). A graduate of the Los Angeles Film School, he has collaborated extensively with writer-director Mike White, including on the earlier series Enlightened.
