Biography
Jon Foster is a British screenwriter and television writer. He frequently collaborates with James Lamont and is credited on the screenplay for Paddington in Peru (2024), alongside Mark Burton.
Foster's other credits include writing for the animated series The Amazing World of Gumball (2011–2016) and creating Wasted (2016) and The Adventures of Paddington (2019–2023). He co-wrote episodes of the BBC sitcom Cuckoo (2012–2019) and contributed to The Harry Hill Movie (2013). He also co-wrote the 2022 Platinum Jubilee sketch featuring Paddington Bear and Queen Elizabeth II.
Foster and Lamont have received BAFTA and Emmy awards for their work on children's television.
