Biography
Jonás Cuarón is a Mexican film director and screenwriter. He studied film at Vassar College and made his feature debut with Year of the Nail (Año uña, 2007), which he also wrote, produced and edited.
He co-wrote the screenplay for Gravity (2013) with his father, Alfonso Cuarón. Cuarón has since directed the features Desierto (2015) and Chupa (2023), as well as the short film Aningaaq (2013).
His other credits include the upcoming Campeón Gabacho (2026).
