Biography
Joseph C. Nemec III is an American production designer and art director. He was born on 7 November 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas. His early credits include set design on The Goonies (1985) and assistant art director work on The Color Purple (1985). He served as art director on The Abyss (1989).
Nemec worked as production designer on Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Patriot Games (1992), Twister (1996), Riddick (2013) and The Shack (2017). He received a BAFTA nomination for best production design for Terminator 2. He is the father of actor Corin Nemec.
