Biography
Josh Ethier is a film editor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Rhode Island, he is credited as editor on Companion (2025).
Ethier has edited numerous horror, thriller and action films, including Gretel & Hansel (2020), Orphan: First Kill (2022), Don't Move (2024) and Mayhem (2017). He has frequently collaborated with director Joe Begos; the pair grew up together in Rhode Island and began making films while in high school. Their joint projects include Bliss (2019), VFW (2020) and Christmas Bloody Christmas (2022).
Ethier was invited to join the American Cinema Editors (ACE) in 2021. His work has screened at festivals including the Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, SXSW and Tribeca Film Festival.
