Biography
Josh Klausner is an American screenwriter and filmmaker. He graduated from Princeton University and began his career as an assistant on the 1994 film Dumb & Dumber. He later served as second unit director on several Farrelly brothers comedies, including Kingpin (1996), There's Something About Mary (1998), Me, Myself & Irene (2000) and Shallow Hal (2001).
Klausner wrote and directed The 4th Floor (1999). His screenwriting credits include Date Night (2010) and Shrek Forever After (2010, co-written with Darren Lemke). He also contributed additional screenplay material to Shrek the Third (2007) and worked as second unit director on Green Book (2018). In 2018 he wrote and directed the independent film Wanderland.
