Biography

Julie Dreyfus is a French actress born on 24 January 1966 in Paris. She is known for her roles in films by Quentin Tarantino, including Sofie Fatale in Kill Bill: Vol. 1 (2003) and Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004), and Francesca Mondino in Inglourious Basterds (2009).

Dreyfus began her career in Japan after studying Japanese at the University of Paris. She made her television debut on an NHK educational programme teaching French in the late 1980s and later appeared as a guest and judge on the cooking show Ryōri no Tetsujin (Iron Chef). She is fluent in French, English and Japanese.
