Biography
Jürgen Doering is a German-born costume designer based in Paris. He began his career in fashion, working for houses including Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, before moving into film and television.
He has collaborated frequently with director Olivier Assayas, with credits including Demonlover (2002), Clouds of Sils Maria (2014), Personal Shopper (2016), Wasp Network (2020) and the series Irma Vep (2022). Other notable work includes LOL (Laughing Out Loud) (2009), Non-Fiction (2018) and Jeanne du Barry (2023), for which he received a César nomination for Best Costume Design.
