Biography
Kelly Preston was an American actress. Born Kelly Kamalelehua Smith on 13 October 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she appeared in more than 60 film and television productions.
She is known for her roles in Twins (1988), Jerry Maguire (1996) as Avery Bishop, For Love of the Game (1999), The Cat in the Hat (2003), Sky High (2005) and The Last Song (2010). She trained at the University of Southern California and began her career in the early 1980s.
Preston married actor John Travolta in 1991; they collaborated on The Experts (1989) and Gotti (2018). She died on 12 July 2020 in Clearwater, Florida, aged 57.
