Biography
Kelvin Yu is an American actor and writer. Born in Santa Ana, California, he graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BA in film, theatre and television. His brother is the writer Charles Yu.
Yu's acting credits include the films Cloverfield (2008), Milk (2008) and Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), and television appearances in Bones (2005), Master of None and The Afterparty (2022). He is to play Noah in the 2025 series Dying for Sex.
As a writer and executive producer, Yu has worked on the animated series Bob's Burgers and created American Born Chinese (2023). He has received Emmy Awards for his work on Bob's Burgers.
