Biography
Kenneth Zunder is an American cinematographer and member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He began in the camera department on features including Rocky (1976) and Rain Man (1988), and television series such as Wonder Woman and Lou Grant, before receiving his first cinematographer credit on the series thirtysomething.
His subsequent credits as director of photography include the series Brooklyn Bridge (1991–1993), seaQuest DSV, Chicago Hope, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1998), Judging Amy and Major Crimes (2012–2017), as well as features such as It Takes Two (1995) and Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas! (2011). He has also directed episodes of Brooklyn Bridge and Judging Amy.
Zunder has received six ASC Award nominations and two Primetime Emmy Award nominations for cinematography. He holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.A. from Stanford University, and has served as a governor of the Television Academy.
