Biography
Kim Jae-beom is a South Korean film editor, often credited as Kim Jae-bum. He frequently collaborates with his brother, editor Kim Sang-bum, with whom he has worked on numerous productions since the early 2000s.
He began in the industry as an assistant editor before becoming a full editor. His credits include Oldboy (2003), Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Lady Vengeance (2005), Thirst (2009), The Handmaiden (2016) and A Taxi Driver (2017). He has also edited films directed by Ryoo Seung-wan, Lee Joon-ik and others.
Born on 10 November 1964 in South Korea, he is known for his long-term partnerships with several leading Korean directors.
