Biography
Kim Sang-bum (Korean: 김상범) is a South Korean film editor. He was born on 14 August 1954.
He has maintained a long collaboration with director Park Chan-wook, editing most of the director's films from Joint Security Area (2000) onwards, excluding Stoker (2013). His credits include Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (2002), Oldboy (2003), Lady Vengeance (2005), Thirst (2009), The Handmaiden (2016), A Taxi Driver (2017), Decision to Leave (2022) and No Other Choice (2025). He has also edited other films such as The Man from Nowhere (2010) and Hope (2013). His father, Kim Hee-soo, was likewise a film editor.
