Biography
Kola Bokinni is an English actor. He was born on 5 August 1992 in Peckham, London, and trained at the BRIT School.
Bokinni's early stage work included a role in the play Peckham: The Soap Opera, first performed at the Bussey Building in Peckham before transferring to the Royal Court Theatre. His performance led to representation by an agent. He is known for playing Isaac McAdoo in the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso (2020–2023), Leyton in Top Boy (2019), and Lennard in the Black Mirror episode "Men Against Fire" (2016).
He has also appeared in films including Annihilation (2018), American Assassin (2017) and Hunter Killer (2018). With the Ted Lasso ensemble cast, he received a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2022. Bokinni has taken part in reality series including Celebrity Race Across the World (2024) and Celebrity Bear Hunt (2025). His sister is broadcaster Yinka Bokinni.
