Biography
Krishna Rao is an American film and television director and cinematographer. He began his career as a camera operator on films including Halloween (1978), The Fog (1980), Predator 2 (1990), Ricochet (1991) and Star Trek Generations (1994).
His directorial debut was the science-fiction film Crossworlds (1996). He has since directed episodes of series including The Pretender (1999–2000), Angel (2000), Dawson's Creek (2001), The Chronicle (2001–2002), She Spies (2002–2003), The Unit (2007–2008), 90210 (2010–2011), Hawaii Five-0 (2017–2018) and Magnum P.I. (2019–2021). Rao has also worked extensively as director of photography on The Unit, Hawaii Five-0 and Magnum P.I..
