Biography
Lalor Roddy is an Irish actor from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Primarily a theatre performer, he co-founded the Tinderbox Theatre Company in Belfast in 1988 and served as its co-artistic director. He began acting full time after working as a clinical psychologist, having studied psychology at the University of Ulster.
Roddy is known internationally for screen roles including William in Hunger (2008), the Catspaw Assassin in Game of Thrones (2011), Paddy Barrett in Grabbers (2012), and the Priest in Kneecap (2024). He has also appeared in Five Minutes of Heaven (2009), Robot Overlords (2015), The Devil's Doorway (2018) and Unwelcome (2023). He received an IFTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor for That They May Face the Rising Sun (2023).
