Biography
Lamar Boren (1917–1986) was an American cinematographer who specialised in underwater photography. Born in Provo, Utah, he worked on numerous films and television series from the 1950s onwards.
He provided underwater camera work for the James Bond films Thunderball (1965), You Only Live Twice (1967) and The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Boren served as director of photography on the Ivan Tors productions Flipper (1963) and Flipper's New Adventure (1964), as well as the television series Flipper and The Rockford Files (1974–1976). His other credits include Brewster McCloud (1970) and The Six Million Dollar Man (1974).
Boren was a member of the American Society of Cinematographers from 1971.
