Biography
Lee Sellars is an American actor. He was born on 29 July 1961 in Opp, Alabama.
Sellars began his career in theatre and received a Joseph Jefferson Award Citation nomination for his performance in Steven Berkoff's play Kvetch at the Blueprint Theatre Group in Chicago in 1991. His film credits include Groundhog Day (1993) as a cop, The Savages (2007), TÁR (2022) as Tony Tarr and Jules (2023).
On television he has appeared in ER (1994–1995), Law & Order (1998–2022), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999 and 2019), Marvel's Luke Cage (2016), Billions (2016 and 2019), Elementary (2017), MINDHUNTER (2017) as Ninkovich, House of Cards (2017–2018) and Blue Bloods (2010 and 2024).
