Biography
Leon Vitali was an English actor. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and appeared in British television series including Z Cars and Dixon of Dock Green before making his feature film debut in 1973.
Vitali played Lord Bullingdon in Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon (1975). He subsequently worked with Kubrick as personal assistant, casting adviser and in other capacities on The Shining (1980), Full Metal Jacket (1987) and Eyes Wide Shut (1999), in which he also appeared as the Red Cloak. Later screen roles include Little Children (2006) and Romeo & Juliet (2013). A 2017 documentary, Filmworker, examined his career.
