Biography
Lisa Kay is an English actress who has also worked in Australia. Born on 11 February 1971 in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, she trained as a ballet dancer before a knee injury led her to acting. She completed a three-year course at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Her film credits include the voice role of Additional Chicken (uncredited) in Chicken Run (2000), Eleanor Ross Heaney in Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), PC Primus in Breaking and Entering (2006), and a voice role in Corpse Bride (2005). On television she played Nurse Carol Cassidy in the ITV series Heartbeat from 2006 to 2010, and later appeared in Home and Away (2018) and Neighbours (2018). More recent work includes the Australian film Sweet River (2020) and the series Bump.
