Biography
Liza Lapira is an American actress. Born on 3 December 1981 in Queens, New York City, she began her career performing on stage in New York productions including As You Like It and The Odyssey before moving to Los Angeles to pursue television roles. Her early film credits include Autumn in New York (2000).
Lapira is known for recurring and regular roles in television series such as Special Agent Michelle Lee in NCIS, Ivy in Dollhouse, Melody 'Mel' Bayani in The Equalizer, and appearances in Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, The Sopranos and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Film roles include Kianna in 21 (2008), Heather in Cloverfield (2008), Trinh in Fast & Furious (2009) and Liz in Crazy, Stupid, Love. (2011). She voiced Disgust in the Pixar film Inside Out 2 (2024), replacing Mindy Kaling.
