Biography
Liza Sadovy is a British actress. She attended drama school in the late 1970s.
She has an extensive stage career in London and New York. Notable credits include Lucinda in the UK premiere of Into the Woods, Yvonne in Sunday in the Park with George, Madame Morrible in Wicked, Aunt Eller in Oklahoma!, and Fräulein Schneider in the West End revival of Cabaret, for which she won the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2022. She received a further Olivier nomination for Oklahoma! in 2023.
Her screen work includes the film A Real Pain (2024) as Diane, and television appearances in Outlander (2023) as Maisie Tolliver, A Small Light (2023) as Mrs Stoppelman, Strike (2017 and 2024) as Mariam, Vera (2011 and 2020) as Wilma Howland, Extras (2005) as Jackie Greer, Midsomer Murders (1997 and 2004) as Rosetta Price, and Emma (2009) as Mrs Cole.
