Biography
Lorraine Kelly is a Scottish television presenter and journalist. She began her career as a reporter on the East Kilbride News before joining BBC Scotland as a researcher in 1983 and TV-am as Scotland correspondent in 1984. She has presented breakfast and daytime programmes including Good Morning Britain, GMTV, Daybreak and her eponymous show Lorraine since 2010.
Kelly has made cameo appearances as herself in series including One Foot in the Grave (1990), Still Game (2002), The Bill (2003) and Toast of London (2013). She was appointed OBE in 2012 and CBE in 2020 for services to broadcasting, journalism and charity. She is married to television cameraman Steve Smith.
