Biography
Lucy Black is a British actor from Bradford, England. She trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
She is known for playing Florence Petridis in the ITV series The Durrells (2016–2019). Other television credits include roles in Ted Lasso (2021), Gentleman Jack (2019) as Mary Sowden, Endeavour (2013) as Warden Juliet Baring, Grantchester (2014) as Isabel Livingstone, Vera (2011) as Judy Mann, The Long Shadow (2023) as Nora Browne, Innocent (2018) as Maria Taylor, Better (2023) as DCI Sandy Mosby, and Silent Witness (2023).
Black has appeared in stage productions at the National Theatre, including Till the Stars Come Down (2024), and has further credits in Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025) as Miss Grant and Call the Midwife.
