Biography
Luke Norris is an English actor and playwright. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, graduating in 2008 after receiving the Alan Bates Bursary. He began his career in theatre with productions at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and the Royal Exchange, Manchester.
Norris is best known for playing Dr Dwight Enys in the BBC series Poldark (2015–2019). His other screen credits include The Duchess (2008), Skins (2009), First Born (2016), Been So Long (2018), The Weekend Away (2022) and appearances in Ted Lasso and Strike. He has also written plays performed at the Royal Court and elsewhere.
