Biography

Lyn Paolo, also credited as Lyn Elizabeth Paolo, is a British-American costume designer. Born in Sunderland, England, she moved to the United States to pursue her career and holds dual nationality. She is based in Los Angeles.

Paolo began in wardrobe on series including Dallas before becoming a designer. She has collaborated extensively with producer John Wells and with Shonda Rhimes on projects such as Scandal (2012–2018), How to Get Away with Murder (2014), and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story (2023). Her credits also include The Pitt (2025), The Residence (2025), Maid (2021) and Burnt (2015).

She won two Primetime Emmy Awards for her work on the series Homefront and has received further Emmy nominations, including for Queen Charlotte.
