Biography
Madhav Sharma is an Indian-British actor. Born on 12 November 1939 in Kolkata, India, he moved to Britain in 1962 and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
He first gained attention for his role as Patel in the 1973 Doctor Who serial Frontier in Space. His film credits include Security Chief in Entrapment (1999), Mr Shah in East Is East (1999), and Landolfi in Conclave (2024). On television he has appeared as Tariq in We Are Lady Parts (2021), Dr Dinesh Gupta in Strike (2017–2022), Senator #2 in Andor (2022), and Arshad Ahmed in EastEnders (2018–2019).
Sharma was previously married to actress Jenny Seagrove.
