Biography
Maggie Siff is an American actress. She was born on 21 June 1974 in The Bronx, New York, and trained at Bryn Mawr College, where she earned a BA in English, and at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she completed an MFA in acting. She worked extensively in regional theatre before moving into screen roles, winning a Barrymore Award for her performance in Ghosts in 1998.
Siff is known for her television roles as Rachel Menken Katz on Mad Men (2007–2008, 2015), Dr Tara Knowles on Sons of Anarchy (2008–2013) and Wendy Rhoades on Billions (2016–2023). She has also appeared in films including Push (2009) as Teresa Stowe and Leaves of Grass (2010) as Rabbi Renannah Zimmerman. She received Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations for her work on Sons of Anarchy and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination as part of the Mad Men ensemble cast.
