Biography
Marc Streitenfeld is a German composer of film scores. Born in Munich in 1974, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 and began working as a music editor. He collaborated frequently with director Ridley Scott in that capacity on films including Hannibal (2001), Black Hawk Down (2001) and Kingdom of Heaven (2005).
Streitenfeld composed his first feature score for Scott's A Good Year (2006). Subsequent credits as composer include American Gangster (2007), Robin Hood (2010), The Grey (2011) and Prometheus (2012). He has also scored independent films such as Poltergeist (2015) and All I See Is You (2016).
His work on Prometheus was recorded with a 90-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
