Biography

Marc Turtletaub is an American film producer and director. Born on 30 January 1946 in Lakewood, New Jersey, he was formerly president and chief executive of the lending company The Money Store, which he sold in 1998. He subsequently entered the film industry.

Turtletaub produced Little Miss Sunshine (2006), in which he also appeared as Doctor #1. With Peter Saraf he co-founded Big Beach Films. His other producing credits include Safety Not Guaranteed (2012), Loving (2016), The Farewell (2019) and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019). He has directed the feature films Jules (2023) and Borges and Me (in post-production).
