Biography
Marcia Bennett is an American-Canadian actor. She was born and grew up in Evansville, Indiana, and holds a BA in Drama from the University of Evansville and a Master's in Theatre from the University of Missouri in Columbia. She began acting at the age of nine, obtained her Equity card at the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, and later worked in New York City before moving to Toronto in the mid-1970s, where she maintains dual citizenship.
Bennett has appeared in numerous films and television series. Her credits include Mrs. Adler in the series The Last of Us (2023) and Cooper's Mother in the film Trap (2024). Other roles encompass Mrs. Trager in Serendipity (2001), the 4th Grade Teacher in Billy Madison (1995), Jean Wahl in The Hurricane (1999), and Lora in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007).
