Biography
Mark Christopher Lawrence is an American character actor, stand-up comedian and voice-over artist. Born on 22 May 1964 in Los Angeles, California, he attended the University of Southern California to study acting in theatre.
He is known for his role as Tone Def in the 1994 satirical film Fear of a Black Hat. Lawrence played Big Mike on the NBC series Chuck (2007–2012). His other film credits include Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Crimson Tide (1995), The Island (2005) and The Pursuit of Happyness (2006). He has made guest appearances on television programmes including Seinfeld, Heroes, Malcolm in the Middle and Good Luck Charlie.
Lawrence has performed stand-up comedy internationally and received the San Diego Critics Circle’s Craig Noel Award for Outstanding Actor of the Year in 2012.
