Biography
Mark Lee Ping-bing is a Taiwanese cinematographer, photographer and author. He began his film career in 1977 and started a long collaboration with director Hou Hsiao-hsien in 1985.
He is credited as cinematographer on In the Mood for Love (2000), for which he shared the Grand Technical Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. His other credits include Fallen Angels (1995), Millennium Mambo (2001), The Assassin (2015) and Norwegian Wood (2010). He has received seven Golden Horse Awards for Best Cinematography.
