Biography
Mark MacEwen is a British cinematographer specialising in natural history, adventure and science documentaries. He has worked on landmark BBC series including Human Planet (2011) and Planet Earth II (2016), for which he served as cinematographer on three episodes.
His other credits include Dynasties (2018), Seven Worlds, One Continent (2019), Prehistoric Planet (2022) and Dynasties II (2022). MacEwen has filmed in more than 30 countries, often in extreme environments. He won a BAFTA Television Craft Award and a Primetime Emmy for his work on Planet Earth II.
