Biography
Mark O'Halloran is an Irish actor and writer from Ennis, County Clare. He has worked extensively in Irish theatre with companies including the Abbey Theatre and has appeared in numerous films and television series.
As an actor he is known for roles including Adam in Adam & Paul (2004), Craigy in the series The Virtues (2019), and Sir Francis Bacon in Mary & George (2024). His writing credits include the screenplays for Adam & Paul (2004), Garage (2007) and Viva (2015), as well as episodes of the series Conversations with Friends (2022).
O'Halloran's work has received awards including IFTA wins for Best Screenplay and Best TV Writer in 2007, and nominations for European Film Awards and IFTA acting and writing categories.
