Biography

Mark Stevens is an American film editor. He began his career in the late 1970s as an assistant editor on television films and features, including Hard to Kill (1990), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) and The Fugitive (1993).

He is best known for his long collaboration with director Joel Schumacher. Their joint credits include Batman Forever (1995), Batman & Robin (1997), 8mm (1999), Phone Booth (2003) and The Number 23 (2007). Stevens has also edited Chain Reaction (1996), Freddy vs. Jason (2003), The Final Destination (2009) and The Collection (2012).
