Biography
Mark Wheeler is an American actor. He was born on 23 December 1947 in Hennepin, Minnesota. His early screen credit includes the role of Receptionist in The Conversation (1974).
Wheeler has appeared in a number of films directed by or associated with Ron Howard, including Backdraft (1991) as Pengelly, Far and Away (1992) as an officer, Apollo 13 (1995) as Neil Armstrong, and EDtv (1999) as a bartender. Television work includes the role of Kit Mainwaring in Dallas (1978) and an appearance in Columbo (1971). He has also worked in the camera and electrical department on several productions.
He was formerly married to actress Frances Lee McCain.
