Biography

Martha Howe-Douglas is an English actress and writer. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2003. Early television roles included a part in the 2003 Christmas special of The Office and the receptionist Donna Parmar in the BBC soap opera Doctors (2006–2007).

She is known for her work with the Them There collective, appearing in multiple roles in the children's sketch series Horrible Histories (2009–2013). She co-created, co-wrote and starred in the Sky1 series Yonderland (2013–2016). Howe-Douglas co-created and co-wrote the BBC sitcom Ghosts (2019–2023), in which she played Lady Stephanie 'Fanny' Button. She has also appeared in films including Nativity! (2009) and Bill (2015), and series such as Doctor Foster (2015).
