Biography
Martin Laing is a British production designer. He is the son of Academy Award-winning production designer Robert W. Laing. After attending design college in London, he joined the film industry in 1985 and moved to Los Angeles in 1993.
Laing worked as an art director on Titanic (1997) and received the Art Directors Guild’s Excellence in Production Design Award for his contribution. As production designer his credits include Ghosts of the Abyss (2003), City of Ember (2008), Terminator Salvation (2009), Clash of the Titans (2010) and This Means War (2012). He was nominated for a Satellite Award for City of Ember.
