Biography
Mary McCormack is an American actress. She was born on 8 February 1969 in Plainfield, New Jersey, and graduated with a BA in comparative arts from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1991. She trained at the William Esper Studio and began her career in regional theatre and off-Broadway productions.
Her film roles include Myrna Foy in Miracle on 34th Street (1994), Andrea Baker in Deep Impact (1998), Rachel Powell in K-PAX (2001), Linda in Full Frontal (2002), and Lilly Enslin in 1408 (2007). On television she has played Justine Appleton in Murder One (1995–1997), Kate Harper in The West Wing (2004–2006), Mary Shannon in In Plain Sight (2008–2012), and Peggy in The Kids Are Alright (2018–2019).
She is married to director Michael Morris.
