Biography

Mason Gamble is an American former actor and marine biologist. Born on 16 January 1986 in Chicago, Illinois, he began acting as a child and was selected from over 20,000 candidates for the title role in the 1993 film Dennis the Menace.

His other film credits include Gattaca (1997) as younger Vincent Freeman, Rushmore (1998) as Dirk Calloway, Spy Hard (1996), Bad Moon (1996) and Arlington Road (1999). He also appeared in television series such as ER (1997), Early Edition (1996) and CSI: Miami (2006). Gamble's acting career spanned 1993 to 2011.

He later studied marine biology at UCLA, earning a bachelor's degree and a master's, and was a doctoral candidate in environmental science and engineering at the university's Institute of the Environment and Sustainability as of 2016.
