Biography
Matt Baram is a Canadian actor born in Toronto. He trained at the University of Alberta's Fine Arts Acting Conservatory and is an alumnus of the Second City Comedy Theatre in Toronto, where he wrote and performed in several revues. He received the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Improviser.
Baram has appeared in films including Suicide Squad (2016) as Dr. Van Criss, Repo Men (2010) and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (2007). On television he has played roles in Black Mirror (2011) as Dr. Usborne, The Umbrella Academy (2019) as Frank 'Bud' Parnell, Supergirl (2015) as Mitch, and Painkiller (2023) as Dr. Robert Kaiko. He portrayed Dr. Steven Hoefflin in the 2024 film The Apprentice.
