Biography
Matt Braly is an American animator, storyboard artist, writer and director. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in character animation and began his career with work at DreamWorks Animation before joining Disney Television Animation.
Braly worked as a storyboard artist and director on the Disney XD series Gravity Falls (2012–2016), for which he received an Annie Award in 2016 for directing the episode "Northwest Mansion Mystery". He contributed as a writer and storyboard artist to Steven Universe (2014) and directed episodes of Big City Greens (2018). He is best known as the creator and executive producer of the Disney Channel series Amphibia (2019–2022).
