Biography
Matthew Hannam is a Canadian film and television editor and director. Born on 8 September 1981 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he has worked on numerous feature films and series.
He won two Canadian Screen Awards for editing: Best Film Editing for Enemy (2014) and Best Editing in a Comedy Series for Sensitive Skin. He was also nominated for a Genie Award for Best Film Editing for Trigger (2011). His other editing credits include The Iron Claw (2023), Babygirl (2024), White Noise (2022), Possessor (2020), Wildlife (2018) and The OA (2016). Hannam made his directorial debut with the 2018 short film Paseo, which was named to the Toronto International Film Festival's Canada's Top Ten list.
