Biography
Matthew Lewis is a British cinematographer. He is known for his work on one-shot films and series, including the feature Boiling Point (2021) and the Netflix limited series Adolescence (2025), both directed by Philip Barantini.
A graduate of Portsmouth University, Lewis shot Boiling Point at the age of 23. He has also served as director of photography on Villain (2020), The Responder (2022) and Accused (2023).
Lewis won the BAFTA for Best Cinematography for Boiling Point and the 2025 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for episode 2 of Adolescence.
