Biography
Maury Winetrobe was an American film and music editor. He began his career as a music editor at Columbia Pictures and later worked as a picture editor on feature films from the late 1960s onwards.
Winetrobe received an Academy Award nomination for Best Film Editing, shared with Robert Swink and William Sands, for his work on Funny Girl (1968). His other editing credits include Cactus Flower (1969), The Wrecking Crew (1968), The Gumball Rally (1976), Ice Castles (1978), The Frisco Kid (1979), The Jazz Singer (1980), Taps (1981) and Vision Quest (1985). He was married to Cecelia and had two children.
