Biography
Max Wiedemann is a German film and television producer. Born on 22 December 1977 in Munich, he studied production and media management at the University of Television and Film Munich, completing his diploma in 2003.
While still a student, he co-founded the production company Wiedemann & Berg Film with Quirin Berg in 2003. Their first feature film, The Lives of Others (2006), won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In 2010 they established W&B Television; both companies became part of LEONINE Studios in 2020, where Wiedemann serves as a managing director and co-chief production officer.
His credits include the series Dark (2017) and films such as Who Am I (2014), Welcome to Hartmanns (2016) and Never Look Away (2018). He is also producer on the series 4 Blocks Zero (2026).
