May Hallatt was a British character actress. Born on 1 May 1876 in Scarborough, Yorkshire, she died on 20 May 1969 in London.

She had stage experience and appeared in both the theatrical and film versions of Separate Tables (1958) as Miss Meacham. Her film roles included Angu Ayah in Black Narcissus (1947), an uncredited part in Room at the Top (1958) and Miss Tanfield in the same film, and the hysterical woman in The Million Pound Note (1954). She also featured in The Horse's Mouth (1958).
