Biography
Mia Sara is an American actress, born Mia Sarapochiello on 19 June 1967 in Brooklyn Heights, New York. She began her career with a role in the soap opera All My Children (1983) and made her feature film debut as Princess Lili opposite Tom Cruise in Ridley Scott's Legend (1985).
She is known for portraying Sloane Peterson in John Hughes's Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). Other credits include Melissa Walker in Timecop (1994), for which she received a Saturn Award, Dr Harleen Quinzel / Harley Quinn in the series Birds of Prey (2002–2003), and a role in The Life of Chuck (2025). She is married to filmmaker Brian Henson.
